Ordering, Shipping & Returns

All orders require a processing time of 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) before shipping. Please add this to the estimated delivery times for your chosen shipping method.

All printed books are processed and shipped by Ingram Publisher Services and ship from their main facility center in Tennessee. There is a small chance that your order may ship from one of Ingram Publisher Services secondary facilities in Pennsylvania, Indiana, or Oregon.

Please note that shipping prices and delivery schedules are subject to change. Ingram utilizes a variety of carriers in order to provide the most efficient and economical service to our customers. Changes made by carriers may affect quoted pricing and delivery schedules without notice.

Once your order is placed and received, you will receive an Order Confirmation email from Rocky Nook provided to the email associated with the account used to check out. Once you order has shipped you will receive an additional notice from Rocky Nook confirming your order has shipped and will include your tracking information if applicable – see International Shipping Times. Please allow at least 24hrs for your tracking information to become active before attempting to track your package.

When you purchase an eBook from Rocky Nook, your Order Confirmation email will include the download links for your eBook files. You may also access your eBook files via your Account page.

Below are the available shipping options for domestic and international shipments.

  • UPS Ground (2–5 business days)
  • UPS Next Day Air (overnight)
  • USPS Economy Mail (2–8 business days – no tracking available for this option)

PLEASE NOTE: In order to keep international shipping accessible, our international shipping options are NOT trackable. While shipments normally take 10-14 days to arrive, it can sometimes take up to 30 days a shipments to reach its final global destination.

Rocky Nook offers the option to pre-order a book prior to its release date. This allows you to be confident that you’ll get the book as soon as it’s available from us. Full payment for pre-orders are charged at the time of order.

Our policy for pre-orders is as follows:

  • For ebooks, you’ll be able to pre-order approximately one month before the ebook is published.
  • For physical printed books, you’ll be able to pre-order approximately two or three months before the book is published.
  • For book bundles, you’re able to purchase both the ebook and physical printed book at once. After purchase, the ebook will be available to download immediately. Once the physical book is in stock it will be shipped to you automatically.

Enclosed with your shipment, you will receive an invoice documenting product charges, applicable sales tax, and shipping charges. Your invoice will state that your order has been prepaid by credit card. You will be billed at time of purchase.

RockyNook.com is required to collect state sales tax for orders shipped to California.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, providing they are in new (resell-able) condition. Please enclose the original invoice with your return.

This applies only to items purchased at www.rockynook.com, if you purchased an item outside of www.rockynook.com, please refer the the original place of purchase for their return policy.

Original shipment and handling charges are non-refundable, and you will be responsible for all costs associated with the returns shipment. We do not provide return labels. No COD returns will be accepted.

If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped goods, please contact customer service at info@rockynook.com.

We do not accept items for exchange. If you purchased an item and would like something else, refer to the Return Policy, follow the instructions to return your item for a full refund, then place a new order at www.rockynook.com.

If you have placed an order and would like to change it, please reach out to us here, with your name and order number for cancellation. We will do our best to cancel your order so that you may place a new order with your desired changes. If you order has already shipped, we cannot cancel it and you will have to initiate a return.

Sign up for the newsletter to be the first to know about a variety of discount deals and exclusive offers. Unfortunately, we are not able to retroactively apply a current coupon code to a past purchase, nor are we able to accept or apply codes after their expiration date. Unless stated otherwise, most coupons cannot be applied to limited edition or special release items.

eBook Store

Whenever possible we provide eBooks to you in several DRM-free file formats; PDF, ePub, and Kindle-compatible Mobi so you can use them on the devices of your choice. Our eBooks are fully searchable, and you can cut-and-paste and print them. We also alert you when we’ve updated your eBooks with corrections and additions.

 

eBooks purchased from rockynook.com are not restricted. You may move them to a new device without repurchasing them, and you may even download different file formats onto more than one device providing it is owned by you.

When you purchase an eBook, you get free updates to reflect published changes and corrections to the edition you own.

  • Laptop or desktop computer — Use either the ePub or PDF.
  • iPad — Download the ePub or the PDF and read it on your iPad.
  • iPhone, iPod touch — Use the ePub or PDF for iBooks or on the reader of your choice.
  • Kindle — Get the Mobi file and load it onto your Kindle.
  • Android — Use the ePub on your reader, or download the ePub directly to your device.
  • Nook — The ePub and PDF formats work well on this reader.
  • Sony Reader — ePubs work well on your Sony Reader.
  • Windows Phone — Read the ePub, Mobi, or PDF on the ebook reader of your choice.

Our watermarked eBook files are easy to download and read—no passwords or activation required. The watermarked file is your personalized copy, discretely marked with your unique identifier.

  • You may make copies for your own personal use on up to five devices.
  • You may not give your files to other people or put the files on servers where others can read or access the content.
  • You may not edit the files, but you may view or print them for personal use.

If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with any eBook you purchase on rockynook.com, we will give you a full refund.   For Rocky Nook products purchased from another reseller (either online or in store), please return the purchase to the retailer or other point of purchase.   If you have any questions, please contact customer service for assistance at (866) 687-1118 or info@rockynook.com.

We accept most major credit and debit cards.

You may use only one coupon code per order. Just enter the coupon code in the field provided when placing your order.

When you purchase an eBook, that copy is designed for your own personal use. While you can copy an eBook file for use on another device you own, such as a portable eReader or smartphone, you may not share copies with other people. You also may not sell used eBooks; ownership is yours only, and cannot be transferred.

How to download your eBook

How to Send an eBook to Your Kindle Device

Step 1: Download Your eBook

Let’s get your eBook ready to go!

  1. Open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer and head over to rockynook.com.
  2. Sign in to your account (if you’re not already logged in).
  3. Click on the My Account
  4. Find the Downloads section and choose the eBook you want to send to your Kindle.
  5. Hit Download on the EPUB file – easy peasy!

Step 2: Move Your eBook to Your Kindle

Now let’s get that eBook on your Kindle:

  1. Open your web browser again and go toamazon.com/sendtokindle.
  2. Sign in to your Amazon account (the same one linked to your Kindle).
  3. Simply drag and drop the eBook file you just downloaded onto the Send to Kindle
  4. Click Send – and you’re all set!

🎉 That’s it! The next time you fire up your Kindle, your eBook will be waiting for you in your library. Happy reading!

Want to add third-party eBooks to your NOOK? No problem! You can do it using either a computer or the NOOK app on an Android device. Here’s how:

Using a Computer

  1. Plug your NOOK into your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer (if you haven’t already).
  3. Open Adobe Digital Editions and authorize your NOOK.
  4. Find the eBook you want to transfer on your computer.
  5. Copy the eBook and paste it into the “My Files” folder on your NOOK.
  6. Disconnect your NOOK and open the eBook—it should be ready to read!

Using the NOOK App on an Android Device

  1. Connect your Android phone to your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Open the NOOK folder on your phone.
  3. Inside, find the My Documents folder.
  4. Drag and drop your eBook into that folder.
  5. Disconnect your phone from your computer.
  6. Open the NOOK app, go to your library, and filter by “My Files”—your book should be there!

Using the Cloud Library App

  1. Install the Cloud Library app on your computer.
  2. Download your eBook into the Cloud Library app.
  3. Connect your NOOK to your computer with a USB cable.
  4. Transfer the eBook to your NOOK, and you’re all set!

  6. Last step click on the down arrow graphic at the top right corner of your Safari window, click on the file there and it will open the Books application – easy peasy!
