How to Send an eBook to Your Kindle Device

Step 1: Download Your eBook

Let’s get your eBook ready to go!

  1. Open a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer and head over to rockynook.com.
  2. Sign in to your account (if you’re not already logged in).
  3. Click on the My Account
  4. Find the Downloads section and choose the eBook you want to send to your Kindle.
  5. Hit Download on the EPUB file – easy peasy!

Step 2: Move Your eBook to Your Kindle

Now let’s get that eBook on your Kindle:

  1. Open your web browser again and go toamazon.com/sendtokindle.
  2. Sign in to your Amazon account (the same one linked to your Kindle).
  3. Simply drag and drop the eBook file you just downloaded onto the Send to Kindle
  4. Click Send – and you’re all set!

🎉 That’s it! The next time you fire up your Kindle, your eBook will be waiting for you in your library. Happy reading!

Want to add third-party eBooks to your NOOK? No problem! You can do it using either a computer or the NOOK app on an Android device. Here’s how:

Using a Computer

  1. Plug your NOOK into your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer (if you haven’t already).
  3. Open Adobe Digital Editions and authorize your NOOK.
  4. Find the eBook you want to transfer on your computer.
  5. Copy the eBook and paste it into the “My Files” folder on your NOOK.
  6. Disconnect your NOOK and open the eBook—it should be ready to read!

Using the NOOK App on an Android Device

  1. Connect your Android phone to your computer with a USB cable.
  2. Open the NOOK folder on your phone.
  3. Inside, find the My Documents folder.
  4. Drag and drop your eBook into that folder.
  5. Disconnect your phone from your computer.
  6. Open the NOOK app, go to your library, and filter by “My Files”—your book should be there!

Using the Cloud Library App

  1. Install the Cloud Library app on your computer.
  2. Download your eBook into the Cloud Library app.
  3. Connect your NOOK to your computer with a USB cable.
  4. Transfer the eBook to your NOOK, and you’re all set!

  6. Last step click on the down arrow graphic at the top right corner of your Safari window, click on the file there and it will open the Books application – easy peasy!
