Gilles Cours

Gilles Cours has been drawing since childhood and has always been attracted to all forms of artistic expression. As an adult, he realized that he had a gift for sculpture, especially metalwork. He has also sculpted with other materials including wood, stone, plastic, cardboard etc. Today he masters more than ten trades such as mason, stonemason, roofer, carpenter, cabinetmaker, tiler, plumber, plasterer, electrician, zinc worker, and painter. He enjoys spending his free time devoting himself back to art. He paints and draws everyday and sculpts for his friends, family, and most of all for fun. He has lived in Germany, England, and eventually Cameroon where he lives now part-time.
