Upgrade

To replace computer hardware, software, or digital photographic devices with a more recent and usually more powerful version. Upgrading can also refer to adding features, such as a second hard drive, or more of the same capability, such as additional RAM, to a computer. In the case of digital cameras, the internal firmware may need to be upgraded from time to time to correct problems that are discovered or to improve performance.
