Untagged
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
Refers to an image file that does not have an ICC color profile attached. Because there is no profile tag, image-manipulation software does not know which color space to use with the image. It is important for the user to determine which color space gives the best color and then resave the image with the color space profile information embedded. This converts the image to a tagged file and allows other software to utilize the image properly. See also color space
