An abbreviation for time value. A term used to mean shutter-priority auto-exposure. Shutter-priority auto-exposure is when the photographer sets the shutter that is desired and the camera's auto-exposure system sets the aperture. Some camera manufacturers, such as Canon, Pentax, and Contax, use this term.
