Tolerance
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
A value used in some Photoshop tools to describe the range over which the tool should be applied. For example, when using the magic wand tool, the tolerance value selected by the user tells Photoshop how close to the chosen value that the pixels it selects needs to be so that they are included in the selection.
