TARGA format

Also called Truevision TGA file format or TGA. An image file format. The file extension is either .tga for most computer systems or .tpic on older Macintosh computers. Since TARGA was originally designed for video editing, the resolutions are often similar to those of the two television standards: the NTSC and PAL formats.
