Saturation

One of the attributes of color, related to the intensity of a specific hue. When a color is less saturated, it generally has more gray or white in it. If it is completely unsaturated (saturation = 0), then the color is gray. Colors with low saturation usually look washed out or faint in color. Intensity also relates to the purity of a color.
