Retouching
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
Enhancing a digital image. Any kind of image can be retouched, but portraits probably undergo this process more often than other types of images. Popular types of retouching include removing blemishes, softening lines around the eyes (sometimes called crows feet) and on the neck, removing or minimizing dark circles under the eyes, slimming the face and figure, removing wrinkles in clothing, opening up a closed eye (a blink), and removing straps and other parts of clothing that should not be showing. Retouching is done with image-manipulation software such as Photoshop.
