Ports

Connections in computers. Ports can be either computer hardware ports for connecting peripherals or other computers, or they can be software ports, allowing computer software programs to connect to each other. Because digital cameras have microprocessors built in, they too can have hardware ports, to connect a cable for downloading image files directly to a computer.
