Portal

Also know as gateway and web portal. A website designed to be an entrance to a number of other websites. For example, a portal could offer e-mail viewing, shopping, news, weather, entertainment, or a search engine. Each click would take the user to another website, or to specific pages on another website, to see a broad spectrum of information and activities.
