Pigment process

The manner in which some color filters used in image sensors are manufactured, so as to produce stable colors over time. Color filters are required to produce the standard red, green, and blue (RGB) sub-pixels needed to make up the color information in a single pixel. Pixels are otherwise capable of only grayscale.
