PMOS (or pMOS)

An abbreviation for positive metal oxide semiconductor. Also known as MOS and MOSFET. A type of field-effect transistor. One of the most popular MOSs in digital is the CMOS or complementary metal-oxide semiconductor. MOS is the most widely used type of transistor currently used in digital circuits.
