An abbreviation for Picture Licensing Universal System. A system developed by the PLUS Coalition, a group of industry experts, leading companies, and associations, to facilitate the licensing of photographs and illustrations. The coalition designed a standard vocabulary, called PLUS, and is now developing other tools for making the licensing process easier and faster for all involved.
