PC cord
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
The wire connecting the PC socket on a camera to an electronic flash. It is generally used with older flashes or older cameras that do not have a hot shoe connection. A PC cord usually has a male PC connector on one end to attach to a PC socket, and a household two-prong electrical connector on the other end to plug into the flash unit.
