Noise reduction

Refers to a type of software used either in a camera or, later, in a computer to reduce the noise in digital images. Some software works by slightly blurring the noisy areas, which also tends to blur fine details in the image. Other software works by operating individually on the red, blue, and green channels in the image. Some techniques work as plug-ins for photo-manipulation software, such as Photoshop, and other
