Macintosh PICT Format

Also known as Macintosh PICTure Format and PICT format. A file format used only on Macintosh computers to support the Quickdraw drawing protocol. It was used for many graphics applications in earlier Macintosh operating systems. Beginning with Mac OS X, PDF replaced PICT as the main format, although many Macintosh programs still support PICT.
