Light source
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
The type of light being used for taking photographs. Light sources include daylight, incandescent light, flash, and fluorescent, among many others. The actual choice of a light source depends heavily upon the photographer's purpose in creating the photographs, the photographer's skill level, and the types of lighting equipment available, among other factors. Making the choice is often a creative decision that depends on the look desired for the image.
