Lasso

A tool in Photoshop used to make a free-form selection in an image. The cursor is simply clicked and moved through the image to select a feature for further work. Holding down the alt (PC) or option (Mac) key at the same time will draw a straight line. When closing the selection the ending point must connect to the beginning point. If the two points are different, the program will automatically connect them with a straight line.
