Image size
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
(1) The physical size of the image. This size can be expressed in pixels, such as 3040 x 2016 pixels, or it can be expressed as a physical measurement, such as 10.133 inches by 6.72 inches. In the latter case, it is best to add the resolution (300 pixels per inch, in this example). Note that this size may be different than the size shown on the monitor because the monitor's resolution is not necessarily the same. Image size is most often used for images in print form, in which case only the height and width of the image area of the print need be given. (2) A function in Photoshop used to change the size or resolution of an image.
