Gray

Besides being a color, gray is sometimes used to refer to gray market goods. As a color, gray is a combination of white and black. Black and white images are properly referred to as grayscale images for example. In a grayscale image there are 254 levels of gray between white and black, for a total of 256 shades of gray.
