Full bleed
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
An image that does not have a border. The image extends off of the page in a printed piece. Full bleed is equivalent to a borderless print. Unlike a photographic print, when a full bleed is called for in a printed document, the image is usually extended a small amount past the edges of the document and then trimmed off when being bound. Allowances must be made for this the pre-trimmed size in any design or specification for an image. See also bleed
