Frame rate

The speed of frames being shown, usually expressed in frames per second or Hz. Frame rates can apply to both film and video. Typical frame rates are 24 frames per second for film and 30 frames per second for video. In computer monitors, frame rates of 70 to 80 Hz are enough to avoid flicker. See flicker
