(1) The format of the camera, such as 35mm, medium-format, 4 x 5, or digital. (2) Camera sensor format or size, such as APS-C or 35mm. (3) The capture file format such as raw, JPEG, or TIFF. (4) Erasing a camera's memory card by erasing the directory. See also formatting
