Flash exposure compensation

Also called flash output level compensation. Varying the amount of flash exposure that is set by the auto feature of the flash. This exposure compensation can be set on the digital camera or on the flash, depending on the model of the digital camera and the flash. This typically can be changed in discrete steps of 1/3 stop or 1/2 stop. See flash output level compensation
