FlashPix (FPX)
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
A file format that stores images in different resolutions all in one file. Each resolution has dimensions equal to twice the length and twice the width of the previous resolution. FlashPix was developed by Eastman Kodak, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, and Live Picture, Inc., working together. It is not a common image file format, and most imaging software does not support it.
