Fixed pattern noise

Noise with a repeatable pattern of hot pixels. This noise usually becomes more obvious at longer exposures and as the image sensor increases in temperature. The noise is referred to as fixed pattern because the hot pixels typically occur in the same place for each image. See also hot pixel
