Fax Group 4

A type of fax machine. The group number indicates the speed and resolution of the fax. Group 4 is fast, with higher resolution, and needs a high-speed phone line (ISDN) to operate. Slower-speed and resolution faxes that use a regular phone line are known as Fax Group 3.
