A temperature scale in the English measurement system. Water freezes at 32 0F and boils at 212 0F. The name comes first proposed the scale in 1724. To convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius, 0C = (0F-32)/1.8. To convert from Celsius, 0F = 0C x 1.8 + 32. See also Celsius (C); Kelvin
