Eyedropper
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
A tool in Photoshop used to measure or sample the color values of an image at a particular point. The tool can select a single pixel or can average the values over a 3 x 3 or 5 x 5 block by selecting one of those blocks in the eyedropper options. By using the eyedropper tool, a photographer or designer can pick up a color from an image to use in a font or a background, or in another graphical element.
