Digitally alter

Also known as digital retouching, digital manipulation, digital modification, and digitally change. To change a digital image using digital tools such as Photoshop. When the term digitally alter is used, it usually refers to more changes than a simple fix of a blemish. Often it means making major changes for artistic, aesthetic, or other reasons. It could mean replacing a background, adding someone to an image, or removing major features of the image. See also Digitally retouch
