Default setting
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
Also called default. The original setting of the parameters in a software program when it is first set up. These default settings can be modified to fit the user's personal working methods. If a program has to be reloaded for any reason, it will revert to its default setting. There is often a button or a switch in the software to reset all values to the defaults set at the time of manufacture, often called factory defaults.
