Color correction
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
(1) The correction of the color of an image to bring it up to the expectations of the photographer. (2) Adjusting the lighting with color gels or adjusting the camera with color filters so that the white balance of the camera is the same as that of the lighting. The main use of the term today in digital photography is in the post-processing of images in a software program such as Photoshop. Color correction can also mean the adjusting of the white balance in a raw file processor or the enhancement of the colors in an image for artistic effect. See also white balance (WB)
