Chimping

A new term that describes photographers using, for the first time, the LCD display screen on the back of their digital cameras to view all of the images they have just created. They are so excited that they exclaim 'ooooh, ooooh, ooooh,' making a sound like a chimp. The term is now generally used for reviewing the images during a photography session.
