Cascading style sheets (CSS)
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
A language used to describe a document's font, color, layout, and other features. This language is used primarily when using the HTML language layout of web pages. CSS is known as a stylesheet language. Not all browsers, including some of the most popular ones, support some of the features of the latest version of cascading style sheets: CSS2. This limits the ability of all web visitors to see what the authors intended. This limitation should be kept in mind when designing a web page.
