Card reader

A small device that attaches to a computer enabling the camera to download images. The card reader usually attaches to the USB or FireWire port on a computer. Besides reducing wear on a camera, using a card reader allows the photographer to continue photographing while the images are being transferred. This is
especially useful when taking photographs on location.
