Archival
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
A term applied to photographic products, usually prints or storage media such as CDs or DVDs, to indicate that they are expected to last a fairly long period of time. It is often used a marketing term without any set scientific meaning. One archival paper for producing prints might last fifteen years and another thirty, and yet they are both referred to as archival by their manufacturers. Accelerated testing is usually conducted to ensure the longevity of photographic and computer materials.
