Aerial perspective
From The Glossary of Digital Photography
The perception of depth in a photograph of an outdoor scene. It is influenced by the natural haze in the distance which causes distant objects to be lighter, more blue, and softer in focus. The haze could be caused by smoke, rain, snow, humidity, smog, or cloudiness. If the haze were removed, then the photograph would tend to look flat. Not the same as aerial
view. See also aerial view.
