Additive palette

A palette of colors made up from the three primary colors of red, green, and blue (RGB). The total number of colors in the palette is determined by the bit-depth (number of bits per color) of each color. Most modern monitors use 24-bit color (8 bits per color) for a total of over 16 million possible colors in the color palette. See also 24-bit color
