Acrobat Reader

A free software program or application created by Adobe Systems to read the electronic files or documents produced by their software program, Acrobat. These electronic files are equivalent to electronic paper in that they are relatively small in storage size, yet will remain formatted correctly on any computer. The file is called a PDF file, which stands for portable document format file. More recent versions of Acrobat Reader will allow forms in PDF format to be filled out.
