A paper size of 594 mm by 841 mm, or 23.4 inches by 33.1 inches. It is defined by the international standard, ISO 216. There are a number of sizes of paper that are defined for convenience in the digital and printing industries. These sizes are more commonly used outside of the United States, which has its own standards in English rather than metric units.
